Compliance continues throughout our relationship
Anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) checks are part of providing corporate administration services in Cyprus. Our responsibility continues after a company is formed or a client is accepted. We must keep our understanding of your company, its owners and its business up to date.
Why a further review may be needed
During 2026, changes to country risk lists have remained relevant to compliance reviews. A change in your company’s ownership, activities, business connections or funding can also require us to reassess its position. We may therefore ask you to confirm or clarify information, even if you have been a client for several years.
Please keep Credora informed
Please notify us promptly of changes to ownership or control, directors, authorised representatives or business activities. Let us know when the company starts operating in new countries or plans a transaction that differs significantly from its usual business. Respond to compliance requests within the timeframe indicated so we can complete the review.
What this means for your services
An updated KYC review is a normal compliance step and does not, by itself, mean there is a concern about your company. However, if legally required checks cannot be completed, we may be unable to start or continue a service or act on a particular instruction.
Looking ahead to 2027
The new EU Anti-Money Laundering Regulation generally applies from 10 July 2027. Existing Cyprus requirements continue to apply during 2026. Keeping your information accurate now will help prepare for the new framework. If you are unsure whether a change should be reported to us, please contact Credora Management Ltd.
