CY Login for Cyprus Companies: A Practical Guide for Overseas Owners

Company access to government services requires the right profile and identification process. Overseas owners should arrange CY Login access before a filing becomes urgent.

Plan access before you need it

CY Login supports access to connected Cyprus government services. For an overseas-owned company, it is helpful to establish the company’s profile, identification status and access arrangements well before a filing deadline. This article describes current procedures for 2026; it does not announce a new law.

Creating a profile is only part of the process

The current CY Login guidance states that identification of legal entities registered with the Registrar of Companies requires an on-site visit to an identification centre. The paperwork depends on whether the application is submitted by a company official or a service provider.

The service provider route

For service provider applications, the guidance lists form CYL/3, an authorisation for each entity using CYL/2 and the identity document of the person presenting the documents. CYL/4 is used for requests concerning multiple entities. Where the company official is itself a foreign company, additional recent director certification and legalisation requirements apply.

Confirm the purpose of each authorisation

An authorisation used for profile identification should not be assumed to grant every permission in every government service. Check the requirements of the particular service you intend to use. Keep a record of the profile details, responsible contact and authorisations, and review access when directors or service providers change.

Contact Credora

Contact Credora Management Ltd to discuss the documentation and local coordination needed for your Cyprus company’s digital administration. Preparing access in advance helps avoid delays when an official submission becomes time-sensitive.
